National Novel Writing Month 2012

Jean Anderson, Richmond liaison for National Novel Writing Month, recently attended JRW’s Writers Wednesday and wanted to pass along information about the launch party for NaNoWriMo in the River City.

Please join your fellow writers on Sunday, October 28 for an evening of hope, good eats, bragging, tasty beverages, plot lines, great company, swag bags, a game or two, and lots and lots of talking about writing!

Here are the details:

  • WHEN — Sun, October 28 from 6-9 PM
  • WHERE — Capital Ale House, 13831 Village Place Drive in Midlothian,
  • WHO — Richmond Wrimos, their support teams (family and friends), and anyone who might take the plunge and write a novel — wireless is available so they can even sign up during the party. There is no official supervision for kids, so while high school teens are welcome, younger children must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

What to bring? Your enthusiasm, your support for your fellow Wrimos, your plots, your grand ideas, your excitement!

RSVP to [email protected]. We want to help the Capital Ale House to provide — yet again — their excellent service by giving an approximate number of guests. Don’t stay away if you forget — we’d never turn down another Wrimo! — but do your best to let me know by Friday, October 26.

See you there!
