Andrew Fox’s first novel, Fat White Vampire Blues, was widely described as "Anne Rice meets A Confederacy of Dunces." It won the Ruthven Award for Best Vampire Fiction of 2003. Its sequel, Bride of the Fat White Vampire, was published in 2004. His most recent book to hit print, The Good Humor Man, or, Calorie 3501, was selected by Booklist as one of the Ten Best SF/Fantasy Novels of the Year. In 2009, he relocated his family to Manassas, Virginia, so that he could take a job with a federal law enforcement agency, after having worked many years for the Louisiana Office of Public Health and the Federal Emergency Management Agency.
Kit Wilkinson is a former Ph.D. student who once wrote discussions on the medieval feminine voice. She now prefers weaving stories of romance and redemption. Her first inspirational manuscript won the prestigious RWA Golden Heart and sold to a popular division at Harlequin. Her fourth novel releases in July 2012. In addition to novel writing and penning the occasional magazine article, Kit teaches French, English and Drama to upper school students at The Millwood School. Currently, she lives in central Virginia with her two pretty, fabulous kids and one lazy, worthless hound dog.
Michele Young-Stone, a Richmond native, is the author of the critically acclaimed debut novel, The Handbook for Lightning Strike Survivors (Crown, 2010). Her next two novels are under contract with Simon & Schuster. Look for The Saints of Los Vientos in Spring, 2013. Michele lives with her husband, son, dog and fish in Richmond, VA.
