On Wednesday, February 6, from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m Cherise Fisher, Principal of The Scribe’s Window and Editor in Residence at Chapter a Month, will be available through Twitter to talk about her experiences in editing and the world of publishing.

To participate in the chat, log in to Twitter (open an account if you need one) and follow @jamesrvrwriters and @scribeswindow. Then, sign on to Twitter a few minutes before the chat and enter #JRWC13 in the search box to find the conversation.

To start the chat, we will post two or three questions for Cherise to answer. At any time you can submit questions by starting them with the author’s Twitter handle, or simply ask your question as a status update in Twitter. Either way, be sure to include #JRWC13 so your tweets can be tracked and the author can respond.

Eighteen year publishing veteran, Cherise Fisher, began her career in publishing as the assistant to the Editor in Chief of Dell, an imprint of Bantam Doubleday Dell. She later moved to Simon & Schuster, where she built a strong list of fiction and non fiction titles covering a broad spectrum of topics. Her extensive trade paperback experience shaped the success of Plume’s publishing program.

Founder and Principal of The Scribe’s Window, a book development company, Cherise is committed to helping both fiction and nonfiction writers express themselves more clearly, more honestly, and more powerfully through developmental editing, coaching, and workshops.
