Held on the last Thursday of every month from January through September at the Camel (1621 W. Broad St.), The Writing Show brings together published authors and other literary professionals to offer an insider’s look at the craft and business of writing.
In 2014, The Writing Show will illuminate the changing industry of writing and publishing. An agent will discuss the art of the synopsis, and James River Writers will partner with the Richmond International Film Festival to bring you an evening of writing in film.
Our grand finale in September will feature published authors who began their careers using the tools provided by James River Writers. A mystery judge will critique your networking skills, and one lucky writer will win the opportunity to give the first few pages of his or her book to an agent!
